"Stupid Fucking Whore" Breakup refers to a viral video on TikTok in which a young woman dramatically screams at and appears to break up with her boyfriend over the phone. The video became popularized on TikTok as it grew into the subject of Duets and lip-dub skits in late 2021 and early 2022.

Origin

The original video was posted by TikToker rehabgrill at an unknown time. On August 30th, 2021, it was reposted by user leo_the_lion25,^[1] where it gained over 5.9 million likes and 32.6 million views in six months (shown below).

Spread

The video quickly became the subject of Duets in which people played the boyfriend on the other end of the angry girl's call. For example, on September 23rd, 2021, TikToker @joshcormack5^[2] posted a video of himself listening to the rant while playing video games, gaining over 1.3 million likes in five months (shown below, left). On October 15th, TikToker @jamisonthomson^[3] posted a video of himself listening to the rant while playing ping pong (shown below, right).

Other comedic videos created with the sound include a skit posted on October 15th, 2021, by user rebecca_skowron in which she acted as an acting teacher listening to the rant as a dramatic monologue, gaining over 277,000 likes in four months (shown below, left). On September 22nd, TikToker @justin_jen played an original guitar melody over the rant in one of the more popular Midwest Emo Intro Parodies (shown below, right).
