Stinky Little Baby is a parody of the song "Pretty Little Baby" by Connie Francis, originally created by TikToker @its.mee.shell, in which she sings about how stinky her baby is and how much he needs a shower. The video was uploaded to TikTok in mid-May 2025, and the song became the subject of further videos over the following weeks on sites including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, many of which show pets reacting to the song or getting bathed while the song plays.

Origin

On May 14th, 2025, TikToker[1] @its.mee.shell posted a video of herself singing a parody of "Pretty Little Baby" by Connie Francis to her baby. The lyrics of the song are about how her baby stinks and needs a shower. The video garnered over 11.1 million views in a month.

The song was posted during a reported increase in virality of the song "Pretty Little Baby" by Connie Francis on TikTok.[2]

The song's original sound went viral over the following weeks in late May and early June 2025, racking up over 42,000 uses in the next three weeks. The majority of the videos using the sound set it to footage of pets, as if calling them stinky.

For example, on May 24th, 2025, TikToker[3] @bugzythestaffy posted a video of their dog to the song that gained over 19.8 million views in just over a week.


On May 27th, Instagram[4] user @sundaythegoldenretriever posted a video of Sunday, a golden retriever, getting a bath set to the song, garnering over 201,000 likes in a week.

On May 30th, 2025, Facebook[5] user Penguinpepperpia posted a similar video of their cat getting a bath, garnering over 3 million views and 80,000 likes in five days.




On June 1st, TikToker[6] @dulcethepitmix posted a video using the song over footage of their dog, garnering over 2.7 million views in three days.
