For example, on April 28th, 2022, redditor Vetoi^[2] uploaded an image of Steph's sleeping gesture (seen below) captioning it as "Curry puts the nuggets to sleep." The post amassed more than 474 likes and 13 comments in two days.

2024 Summer Olympics Final

On August 10th, 2024, the Team USA men's basketball team played against France in the final match of the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning its fifth straight gold medal at the Olympics and defeating France 98 to 87. Stephen Curry celebrated one of his points against France toward the end of the game as the U.S. team racked up a lead in the final moments with his classic "sleeping" gesture, essentially signaling that it was time for France's team to go to bed and that the game was over.
