SpongeBob Sings is a series of YouTube remix videos featuring clips from the animated television series Spongebob Squarepants which are dubbed in sync with a variety of songs.

Origin

On May 31st, 2007, YouTuber Welcome! uploaded a video titled "Spongebob Sings I'm Blue," featuring a montage of Spongebob Squarepants clips edited to the tune of the 1999 eurodance song "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" by Eiffel65 (shown below). Within nine years, the video gained over 7.9 million views and 11,800 comments.

On July 21st, 2009, YouTuber The SpongeGuy's Channel uploaded footage from Spongebob Squarepants dubbed with the 1982 pop song "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson (shown below, left). Over the next seven years, the video accumulated more than 2.6 million views and 1,100 comments. On April 21st, 2010, YouTuber posted clips from Spongebob Squarepants edited with the 2010 pop song "Baby" by Justin Bieber (shown below, right).

On December 16th, 2011, YouTuber EvanCG Productions uploaded a video titled "Spongebob Sings Skrillex," featuring a clip on Spongebob singing on stage with the song "First of the Year (Equinox)" by Skrillex dubbed over the original audio (shown below, left). Within five years, the video gathered upwards of 5.8 million views and 12,500 comments. On December 16th, 2012, YouTuber MultiVideogamelover posted clips from the same episode of Spongebob Squarepants with the 2010 dance song "Moves like Jagger" by Maroon 5 playing in the background (shown below), right).

On April 28th, 2014, YouTuber trashboat posted a video featuring Spongebob Squarepants footage edited to the tune of the dance song "Timber" by Pitbull, which gained over 2.6 million views and 770 comments in three years (shown below, left). On September 13th, YouTuber Chip's World posted a video in which Spongebob Squarepants characters sing the 1970 metal song "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath.[4] The video was subsequently removed due to a copyright claim from Viacom. On March 17th, 2015, YouTuber Dancing Dunces posted Spongebob Squarepants clips edited to the 2015 pop funk song Uptown Funk (shown below). In two years, the video garnered more than 5.7 million views and 1,800 comments.

SpongeBob Sweat Victory Consert

Sweet Victory, otherwise known as SpongeBob Rock Concert Remixes, refers to a memorable scene in an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants that has been subject to many variants. The scene in question involves key members of the cast of SpongeBob SquarePants playing musical instruments in a halftime show.
