Source Tells Me Charlie Is Stable, Please God is a viral Twitter / X post by right-wing political commentator Tim Pool posted shortly after the shooting of Charlie Kirk in mid-September 2025, where he wrote, "Source tells me Charlie is stable. Please God." Kirk was pronounced dead not long after the post was made. The post text became a copypasta, phrasal template and the subject of memes over the following months, where the name "Charlie" is often replaced with another person or character to alter the context.

On September 10th, 2025, conservative political activist and podcaster Charlie Kirk was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University. Hours after he was shot, right-wing political commentator and content creator Tim Pool (@Timcast) posted on X,[1] "Source tells me Charlie is stable. Please god," garnering over 121,000 likes and 10,000 reposts in four months. He elaborates in a comment under the thread, writing, "I received a call from a trustworthy source who told me this. I want to believe and Im hoping. Just pray."

Charlie Kirk was pronounced dead later that day.

The phrase, "Source tells me Charlie is stable. Please God," became a copypasta and the subject of memes over the following months, largely on X / Twitter.

On November 14th, 2025, X[2] user @kitt_er posted the copypasta without any further context, garnering over 103,000 likes and 2,500 reposts in two months.



On December 14th, X[3] user @soapyhadid posted, "Source tells me hawk tuah is stable. Please god," referencing the Hawk Tuah girl, garnering over 34,000 likes in a month.



On December 15th, 2025, X[4] user @Saberspark posted an edit of the tweet that attributes it to Mr. Boss from Smiling Friends in response to a clip of Dolly Dimpley knocking Charlie out, garnering over 16,000 likes in a month.

On December 16th, Instagram[5] user neoliberalhell posted a screenshot of a tweet accusing Tim Pool of lying about his source telling him Charlie is stable, garnering over 17,000 likes in a month.



On January 3rd, 2026, X[6] user @hunterbidenDem posted, "Source tells me Maduro is stable. Please god," garnering over 27,000 likes in five days. The post references the 2026 capture of Maduro.
