Some of You Were Never…, also known as And it Shows, is a snowclone by the format "Some of you were never X and it shows." The format is popular on Twitter and grew popular in early 2019.

Origin

On December 24th, 2018, Twitter user @Jasmineae posted, "some of you have never made a ‘can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars I could really use a wish right now <3’ facebook status and it shows," gaining over 20,000 retweets and 136,000 likes (shown below).

Spread

After the format saw some derivations in the following week, Twitter user @lauravryder tweeted "Some of you were never the third friend that had to walk behind when the sidewalk is too narrow and it shows," gaining over 81,000 retweets and 279,000 likes (shown below).

This led to the format becoming extremely popular, as multiple tweets with the format grew popular. Examples include a tweet by Seth Everman that gained over 5,700 retweets and 22,000 likes (shown below, left) and another by @rosewoos_strap that gained over 3,100 retweets and 7,000 likes (shown below, right).
