TikToker[1] @jpsaxe posted a video of him debuting a "new song" live on February 12th, 2025, singing, "It's scary in my head / I'm not ready for these interactions / I'll do anything for a distraction / Smartphone make me dumb / Whiskey make me numb / Women make me — mhmmmm" The video gathered over 37,000 plays and 600 likes in three months.
On March 4th, JP Saxe posted a polished version of his song presented alongside a moody black-and-white video to TikTok,[2] gathering over 1 million plays and 47,000 likes in three weeks.

On March 15th, 2025, TikToker[6] @mikeydavis__ posted a skit joking about the song, showing himself planking and gritting his teeth to the lyrics, "Women make me mhmmm." The post gathered over 1.4 million plays and 240,000 likes in two months.
