About

Sleep Phonk, also known as Sleeping Phonk or Phonk To Fall Asleep To, refers to a series of parody phonk songs designed for bedtime and sleeping. The irony relies on the aggressive, bass-boosted sounds of phonk music that are antithetical to sleep. The bad reputation of the phonk genre was also utilized in the Sleep Phonk meme, as it's often associated with cringe Sigma Male edits. The original Sleep Phonk song went viral on TikTok in early 2025, showing a Trollface and Trollge with sleepy signifiers like a nightcap. The song was a phonk remix of the "Rock-a-bye Baby" lullaby. The TikTok sound was widely used by others in April 2025.
