SKRILLEX TRIBUTE YTPMV refers to a series of YouTube Poop Music Videos (YTPMVs) featuring the song "Kill EVERYBODY" by American Dubstep/Electronic music producer Skrillex.

Origin

The song "Kill EVERYBODY" is from Skrillex's second EP Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites^[1], which was released on October 22nd, 2010. The first Skrillex Tribute YTPMV was uploaded by YouTuber McMaNGOS^[2] on December 9th, 2011. He remixed several different visual sources including clips from Community and Team Fortress 2, as well as added in different audio sources, with the song.

As this video gained popularity among YouTube Poopers, many of them started creating their own "SKRILLEX TRIBUTE" videos, keeping the titles in all capital letters and often referring throughout the video to Skrillex dying.^[3] Within the first month, over 100^[4] different Tributes had been posted, with 163 listed on the video response page^[5] for McMaNGO's original video as of February 2012.

Many of the visual resources for these videos are random, but some recurring clips include PINGAS, Team Fortress 2, My Little Pony, and Spongebob Squarepants.
