About
Short Friend POVs or That One Short Friend Fighting For His Life refers to a series of POV memes on TikTok portraying the "short friend" in a friend group as being minuscule in size, often by using clips of video game or movie characters fighting giant monsters alongside captions like, "POV: That one short friend fighting for his life (they are fighting a chihuahua)" to suggest the giant creature is actually normally sized. While memes about the short friend have been uploaded to TikTok as early as 2022, the trend became popularized in September 2023, often set to Captain Gutt's song "Master of the Seas" from Ice Age 4.
