About

She's So Crazzzzzzzy Love Her refers to a viral image of a woman in a grocery store with a bag of potato chips balanced on her head, holding up peace signs with her fingers and doing a duck face. The original image is a screenshot taken from Facebook that was originally captioned "she's so crazzzzzzzy! Love her!!!" It was first posted to Tumblr in March 2014 and went viral in the following years, inspiring photoshops and recreations, as well as inspiring others to take photos with food and chip bags on their heads. The image is often joked about as representing the typical white girl due to the caption claiming she's crazy for doing something arguably not crazy, the duck face and the peace signs.

Origin

On March 14th, 2014, Tumblr[1] user i-peed-so-hard-i-laughed posted a screenshot from Facebook showing a woman named Robyn (last name censored by uploader) posing in the grocery store with a bag of chips on her head. Robyn is holding up peace signs with her fingers and making a duck face. The post is captioned "She's so crazzzzzzzy! Love her!!!" and was posted to Facebook on an unknown date by Abigail (last name censored by uploader). The Tumblr caption reads "Robyn needs to calm the f--k down," implying that what she's doing is not crazy at all. The post went viral and gained over 410,000 notes in seven years (shown below).

On June 28th, Instagram[5] page memequeen posted the original image, gaining over 61,000 likes in four months.

The image has inspired other people to take similar pictures with bags on their heads, often with the same caption.[6] On August 21st, Twitter[7] page @giffyonline posted a photoshopped version of the image removing Robyn from the image and replacing the caption with "she's so gone! Miss her!!!" gaining over 199,000 likes and 17,000 retweets in two months (shown below). The image was included in a Buzzfeed[8] list article the next day.
