On February 10th, 2026, Riobox made a post claiming that CourseMediocre7998 had taken her own life, sharing the DMs between himself and her alleged brother, who was using her account to talk to Riobox. The post was met with skepticism after evidence that CourseMediocre7998 appeared online on Xbox Live after she purportedly died. Some believed that Riobox was being catfished and tricked.

The incident inspired memes on Reddit using the phrase "She is no more more" or "She's no more more," a sentence used by CourseMediocre7998 when caliming she had died.

Origin

On February 10th, 2026, Redditor u/Riobox, the lead mod for the /r/antimeme^[1] subreddit, made a post claiming that co-mod u/CourseMediocre7998 took her own life. The post, which includes a photoshop of her face on a gravestone, reads that after 60 hours of no messages, u/CourseMediocre7998's brother reached out to her through her Discord account to share that she took her own life. The post reveals that u/Riobox was e-dating u/CourseMediocre7998. u/Riobox announced their hiatus following this. The post gained over 15,000 upvotes in three days.

Shortly after the post was made, u/Riobox posted a comment in the thread sharing the screenshot of the DMs between himself and the person alleging to be CourseMediocre7998's brother. One of the alleged brother's messages reads, "She's no more more."

The post inspired skepticism from some, including an investigation on the /r/SubredditDrama^[2] subreddit that day and the now-banned /r/antimeme2 subreddit.. The post shares information about their relationship, including Riobox admitting that their relationship was online-only, and that they didn't even have each other's phone numbers.

According to the post, a user on the /r/antimeme2 found a post from CourseMediocre7998 sharing her Xbox Live gamertag. Looking at the tag, they found that the user was online past the date that they purportedly took their own life. According to the one who found the evidence, the Xbox account was privatized shortly after the post was made.

On February 11th, Redditor u/AvgPunkFan made a post on the /r/antimeme^[3] subreddit sharing DMs between themself and Riobox, where Riobox admits that CourseMediocre7988 was likely catfishing him.
