#SharpieChallenge is a challenge started by Jimmy Fallon in which a person needs to hit a sharpie marker in the air, remove the cap, and draw a mustache on their face in one fluid motion.
On November 15th, Jimmy Fallon announced what he'd dubbed the #SharpieChallenge, challenging viewers to record themselves hitting a sharpie in the air and drawing a mustache on their upper lip, in honor of "Movember," an annual tradition of using November to promote men's health issues (shown below).
In the following several days, several social media users recorded themselves attempting the challenge. For example, staff members of Sharpie posted a video of themselves doing the challenge on Twitter (shown below, top). It was also popular among Twitter and TikTok users.
