Sending SO MUCH Love And Support refers to a copypasta that emerged in parody of an Olivia Munn tweet to comedian John Mulaney after he checked into rehab in December of 2020. In May of 2021, Mulaney announced he and his wife were divorcing. Days later, it leaked that Mulaney was in a relationship with Munn, leading people to quote-tweet Munn's supportive tweet to celebrities they had crushes on.
Origin
On December 21st, 2020, Olivia Munn[1] sent a supportive tweet to John Mulaney after it was announced he was checking into rehab (shown below).
Spread
On May 13th, 2021, Vulture[2] reported that Mulaney and Munn had begun dating, just days after it was announced that Mulaney was getting a divorce from his wife. This caused people to recall Munn's tweet wishing Mulaney well, and reposting her text about celebrities they had crushes on. In the responses to Munn's tweet, user Razzball tweeted,[3] "@KateUpton SO MUCH love and support. You got this," gaining over 240 likes (shown below, left). On May 14th, Twitter user @CCOceans[4] tweeted the joke, addressing to Chris Evans, gaining over 50 likes. The jokes were covered by Stayhipp.[5]
