Send Her to the Ranch is a quote from a PewDiePie video mocking a segment from Dr. Phil in which the television host sends a troubled teen to a place called Turnabout Ranch in order to fix behavioral issues. The quote became a meme in the PewDiePie fandom, resulting in image macros and photoshops of the scene.

Origin

On November 3rd, 2017, Dr. Phil posted to YouTube a clip from his show titled "Why Dr. Phil Tells Guests Their Daughter 'Needs To Be Removed From This Home'," in which Dr. Phil talks to a troubled teen and suggests she go to "Turnabout Ranch," a residential therapy center for troubled teens (shown below).

On September 12th, 2018, PewDiePIe uploaded a video titled "Dr. Phil DESTROYS spoiled brat!!!! . -- Dr Phil #7" in which he makes fun of the Dr. Phil episode. When Dr. Phil introduces the "Turnabout Ranch," PewDiePie cheers and chants "Send her to the ranch!" (shown below, left). On December 25th, 2018, he uploaded a second, similar video about a different episode where he again cheered and chanted "Send her to the ranch" (shown below).

Following the second video, PewDiePie fans began creating memes based on the cheer. For example, on January 7th, 2019, Redditor moist_loser posted a joke about the phrase that gained over 2,200 points on /r/PewDiePieSubmissions (shown below, left).^[1] Jokes surged in popularity when PewDiePie uploaded a third, similar video mocking a Dr. Phil segment on January 21st, 2019.^[2] That day, user urwelcomebru^[3] made a post referencing the ranch that gained over 10,000 points (shown below, right).

Other popular posts include an image macro by craftingsonic that gained over 11,000 points (shown below, left) and a Kaiba's Defeat parody posted by coonYT that gained over 9,000 points (shown below, right). A subreddit devoted to the meme was created on January 22nd, 2019.^[4]
