About

Seen Kyle, is a homophone of the German term, "Sieg Heil" or "Sieg und Heil", which means "hail victory". It was most popularly used by Adolf Hitler, who would use it as his and the Nazi signiture chant.

Seen Kyle, is a demotivational meme. The title/caption, usually asks the question "Has anyone seen Kyle?" sometimes added on is "He's about this tall." which is a joke on the position of the saluted hand. Another title (or sometimes used as a response) is simply "He/She/They are looking for Kyle".

Origin

The original photo was a neo-nazi picture posted on Madville.com, which was then posted on a blog www.blameitonthevoices.com, the earliest post of Seen Kyle from November 25th 2008, the earliest demotivational poster of it was uploaded by an unknown source on http://motivac.sopca.com/, dated 1st December 2008. It didn't recieve that much attention, but it was brought up again on verydemotivational.com and was made using the deMotivational Builder at Cheezburger.com on the 5th March 2010. Since that date 113 comments were made on the poster, and multiple clone posters were uploaded days and weeks after. There are almost 55,000 entries on google so far.
