About

Second Bridesmaid Running Video, also known as Bridesmaid #2 Run or Wedding Lineup Idea, is a viral video on TikTok in which user @fabhann suggests Alex Warren's "Ordinary" as the perfect song for walking down the aisle at a wedding, showing how the bridesmaids would walk following the music's rhythm and lyrics. The post went viral in late March 2025 as netizens noticed that the second bridesmaid would have to run or sprint to catch up with the song and stay on tempo for the bride's reveal and walkout, spawning memes and parody videos in which people pretend to be the running bridesmaids or train to match the speed of the music.

Origin

The original TikTok[1] video was posted by user @fabhann on March 21st, 2025, in which she describes how she would use Alex Warren's song "Ordinary" to walk down the aisle at her wedding. She uses her fingers to sync the bridesmaids' walks to the song's lyrics (seen below), amassing more than 20 million plays and 1 million likes in a week.

Spread

Just a few days after @fabhann's video went viral, netizens started to post humorous videos recreating the second bridesmaid running down the aisle, as suggested by the TikToker.

For example, on March 28th, 2025, TikTok[2] user @hallfarmsweddings uploaded a video titled "What this song would actually look like" if Alex Warren's "Ordinary" were used as a wedding song. The video (seen below) amassed more than 21 million plays and 2.8 million likes in two days.

On the same day, TikTok[3] user @brobeingbasic posted a video running on a treadmill, captioning it, "Training to be Bridesmaid #2 at that one Wedding." The video garnered over 2 million plays and 461,000 likes in two days.
