About

Running All Over the Place Blue in the Face and Shi is Bubonic refers to lyrics from a rap song by Chandler Matkins (or Chandler), which went viral when he shared a clip of him rapping them on TikTok in early 2025. The full lyrics read, "Running all over the place, blue in the face, looking like Sonic. Got up on stage around nine and the next day they called it 'iconic.' In between that, I was off of some tonic, vodka and lime, and a pack of the chronic. Bring death to a beat, shi is bubonic." Depicted in the memes, Chandler Matkins is a large white man with red hair and a beard, who's seen in the dark wearing a black beanie. The full song was called "BIG BODY BROTHERS" featuring fellow rapper Billy Marchiafava. Meme creators on TikTok started using the video in exploitable content in the weeks that followed, mostly making fun of Matkins' lyrics, delivery and video akin to meme rap and satirical hip-hop. Some people called it "Coworker Music" and others compared Matkins to Twitch streamer CaseOh due to their resemblance.
