Rich Boy Check is a series of Tik Tok videos featuring users showing off their expensive things to the piece "Minuetto" by composer Luigi Boccherini.

Origin

In the Late 18th Century, Italian Composer Luigi Boccherini wrote "Minuetto." A recording of the piece was uploaded to YouTube in 2008 (shown below).

On February 26th, 2019 Tik Tok user @papasmurf uploaded the first Rich Boy Check video (shown below). The clip accumulated 71,700 likes in a month. The sound has been used in over 50,000 videos in a month.

On March 21, 2019 @DariusRusnack uploaded a TikTok video showing off their family cars and belongings (shown below, left). The clip gained 776,000 likes in two weeks. @kyliesisabel's video gained over One million likes in two weeks (shown below, center). On March 30th, @brookie showed off her mansion and other expensive things in a Rich Boy Check that gained over 547,000 likes in a week (shown below, right).

On March 15th, Top Best TikTok uploaded a compilation video that has received over 66,700 views and 1,100 likes in less than a month (shown below, left). On March 28th, Tik Tok Tom uploaded an Ironic compilation to YouTube (shown below, right).
