On February 10th, 2019, the 61st annual Grammy Awards were held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. During the award ceremony, a quick shot of Diana Ross' daughter Rhonda Ross Kendrick on the phone. Fox reporter Rilwan Balogun tweeted a clip of the moment (shown below).^[1]

Throughout the evening, people began to use the image of Ross Kendrick on the phone as a reaction image. Twitter user @AshleyCovergirl tweeted,^[2] "Crying I need a gif of Diana Ross daughter on the phone NEOWWWW #GRAMMYs." The tweet received more than 90 retweets and 400 likes in 24 hours (shown below, left). Throughout the evening, more people posted images her on the phone (examples below, center and right).

That evening, Twitter^[3] user @LiveLoveHustle used the image in a tweet about the Motown tribute. They wrote, "Girl you should see this bullshit, they got JLo doing a damn Motown tribute." The post received more than 1,000 retweets and 4,000 likes in 24 hours (shown below).
