Origin

The character Baby Sinclair originates from the American family sitcom Dinosaurs, which aired on ABC from April 26th, 1991, to July 20th, 1994. The program follows the Sinclairs, a family of anthropomorphic dinosaurs, as they navigate modern problems in 60,000,000 BC Pangea.

Canonically, Baby Sinclair is a baby Megalosaurus and the youngest of the Sinclair family. He is known for his catchphrases, "I'm the baby, gotta love me!" "Again!" and "Not the mama!" Dinosaurs was produced by The Jim Henson Company, with puppets designed by Kirk Thatcher. Baby Sinclair was voiced by American puppeteer Kevin Clash.^[1]

On February 5th, 2026, X user^[2] @klara_sjo posted an image of Baby Sinclair dressed in a Corvette-branded T-Shirt, jean shorts (jorts) and New Balance sneakers with the caption, “How Corvette owners dress when their wife tells them they're going to a fancy restaurant.” The post went viral, quickly gaining over 18,000 likes and 4.8 million views in five days.

The tweet was widely discussed on X, furthering its virality, which was later erroneously summarized by the platform's proprietary AI, Grok, as "Frog Puppet Nails Corvette Owner Stereotype at Fancy Dinner."^[3]

Further variations of the Redneck Baby Sinclair meme were created and quickly spread on the platform in the days that followed in early February 2026.

On February 6th, 2026, X user^[4] @bigsiggis posted an image of Baby Sinclair dressed in stereotypical redneck garb, including a veteran's hat and a large belt buckle, with the caption, "Me inside of a Buc-ee’s waiting for them to yell 'Fresh hot brisket on the booooard!'" which received over 9,900 likes and 334,500 views in four days.

On February 7th, 2026, X user^[5] @b0newalljackson posted another variation of the meme, depicting Baby Sinclair as a typical Boomer. The post gained over 2,900 likes and 89,900 views in three days.
