Raora's "Doom" refers to a viral clip of Hololive streamer and VTuber Raora Panthera using the "Doom" spell in the game Mage Arena, which surprised fellow VTubers, such as Takanashi Kiara, after hearing her say the name in order to cast the spell. The clips gained virality in November 2025 among fans, which then became the subject of fan art, fan animations and memes in the Hololive community leading into late 2025 and early 2026.

Origin

On November 16th, 2025, the Hololive English Myth talent, Takanashi Kiara, through her YouTube^[1] started a livestream with other VTubers, such as Hakos Baelz, Koseki Bijou, Ninomae Ina'nis, Ouro Kronii, Raora Panthera, IRyS and Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame, playing the video game Mage Arena for three hours.

Around the 1:21:20 timestamp, when Takanashi Kiara was fighting against Ina'nis, she heard her teammate, Raora, saying the "Doom" spell in order to cast it, with a black hole-like spell then appearing, which sucked both of them in and killed them, resulting in "friendly fire," while the other talents reacted with surprise after hearing it.

On November 17th, 2025, YouTube^[2] user Gomi Simpington Ch. uploaded earliest popular clip of other talents reaction when hearing Raora say the "Doom" spell, titled "𝗥𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲." The video received more than 1 million views in two months.

Both the livestream and the clip of Raora using Doom gained virality in the Hololive community over the following days and months, which became subjects for fan art and fan animations.

For example, on November 17th, 2025, Twitter / X^[3] user @NueBunny uploaded fan art based on the clip. The post received more than 3,900 reposts and 31,000 likes in two months.

On December 8th, 2025, YouTube^[4] user Dunkemz uploaded a fan animation of Raora saying the spell and then getting sucked into her magic with Kiara. The video received more than 1.6 million views in one month.

On December 16th, 2025, Takanashi Kiara via her official Twitter / X^[5] quote retweet @hari_dzs's fan animation and appreciating it, with caption "the doom moment become 'try to animate this' challenge." The post received more than 1,100 reposts and 17,000 likes in one month.
