Queen Never Cry, also known as Queen Don't Cry, refers to a viral panel from The Ki Sisters manhwa and webtoon in which a mother tells her crying newborn "Queen never cry," which became a viral catchphrase and exploitable meme. The panel was posted in November 2024 on Reddit, also spawning many memes and jokes on X / Twitter and TikTok.
Origin
On November 22nd, 2024, chapter 34 of the The Ki Sisters[1] was released on Webtoon. In a particular panel of the manhwa, a mother, Queen Serina, was being handed her crying newborn, Queen Laura, and utters, "Queen never cry," which prompts the baby to immediately stop crying (seen below).
Redditor[2] u/OriginalAlberto posted one of the earliest mentions of the scene, shared to the subreddit /r/manhwa, which amassed more than 445 upvotes and 28 comments in two days.

The "queen never cry" panel gained viral attention on November 23rd, 2024, after X[3] user @avecirru uploaded two images from the The Ki Sisters manhwa, writing, "Someone needs to tell me the lore of this baby," which gained over 4 million views and 219,000 likes.
On the same day, TikTok[4] user @fuyutits uploaded a fan edit of the Queen Never Cry meme accompanied by Nicki Minaj's song "So Special," which received more than 4 million plays and 1.2 million likes in a day.
