About

Quarter Zip Dude, Quarter Zip vs. Nike Tech and Quarter Zip and Matcha refer to a series of memes on TikTok about men who wear quarter zip sweaters, who are stereotypically wealthy, classy and hold white-collar jobs in finance. A TikTok trend about wearing quarter zips emerged in November 2025, when TikToker Jason Gyamfi (@whois.jason) shared a video about wearing a quarter zip and drinking matcha instead of wearing a Nike tech sweatsuit. The video followed the same format as the I'm a Matcha Nigga video and commented on Black male fashion and stereotypes, including the Performative Male stereotype.

In the following weeks, several memes surfaced on TikTok and other social media platforms that humorously contrasted quarter zips and Nike techs.
