On June 9th, 2024, Instagram[1] user the_political_compass posted a screenshot of an unknown TikToker's video, possibly @abr8.edits as is shown in some screenshots of the video, showing a girl with a wide-eyed stare responding to a comment left by TikToker @user338799 reading, "profoundly mid angloid peasant phenotype. you should be the in fields. not voting." The post gained over 24,100 likes in 10 months.
Spread
The image garnered viral spread over the following months, inspiring memes. On June 9th, 2024, X[2] user @swaggysuperswag posted a redraw of it that gained over 570 likes in 10 months. On June 10th, the original was posted to the /r/Clamworks[3] subreddit, garnering over 2,600 upvotes in the same span of time.
On June 11th, Redditor u/pompompencil posted a redraw of the image to the /r/FearandHunger[4] subreddit, garnering over 1,500 upvotes in 10 months.

On January 17th, Instagram[8] user catholicorca posted a video that includes the image, garnering over 22,000 likes in the same span of time. The video's description reads, "Based peasant stock woman. Marry a girl like this, she will survive famines & the occasional Viking raid on your village."
