On March 22nd, 2020, Priyanka Chopra published a video of herself clapping by herself from a balcony on her Instagram Stories. The video featured the caption "People around the world have shown their appreciation for the doctors, nurses, and all first responders battling #Covid19 by clapping on their balconies. Although I coudn't be there in India today to join, I am there in spirit. #jantacurfewindia." That day, the Twitter [1] account @PriyankaCental shared the video (screenshot below).
The following day, Twitter user @zaaraloveslana shared the video. The tweet received more than 2.6 million views and 175 likes in less than two weeks (shown below).
