On February 18th, 2024, Getty Images^[1] uploaded a photo from photographer Jordan Pettitt showing William, Prince of Wales talking passionately at actresses Phoebe Dynevor, Ayo Edebiri, Sophie Wilde and Mia McKenna Bruce (shown below). Ayo Edebiri's expression is the most recognizable in which she seems visibly shocked with her eyebrows raised and her eyes wide open.

The first-known upload of the image on social media was a tweet shared by X^[2] user @Hopesloop on February 18th, who captioned it, "I am simply begging you all to look at this photo of Ayo Edebiri meeting Prince William at the #BAFTAs," gaining over 30,000 likes in one day (shown below).

The tweet inspired a slew of quotes and replies. For instance, on February 18th, 2024, X^[3] user @LucaGuadagnegro labeled both people, "the British" and "the Irish," gaining over 7,200 likes in a day (shown below, left).
