Prettiest Girl in the World / Think Again refers to a ratio attempt in which a user quoted a photograph of a baby captioned "prettiest girl in the world" with their own photograph. Becoming a meme in the early 2020s, the exchange has been used as a reference for redraws with users replacing one or both photographs with various characters.

Origin

On October 12th, 2020, Twitter / X[1][2] user @ZOETINGZ posted two photographs of her daughter captioned, "prettiest girl in the world," with the post gaining over 20 likes before being removed. Prior to August 7th, 2022, X user @bimbofication ratioed the post with her own photograph, writing, "think again." On August 7th, 2022, X[3] user @buffys posted a screenshot of the exchange, with the post garnering over 6,400 reposts and 98,000 likes in two years (shown below).

More reposts of the exchange were made on X, Tumblr and other sites in the following months. Prior to August 15th, 2022, Tumblr[4] user basedandfatpilled reposted the image, earning over 390 reblogs and 820 likes in two years. On November 26th, 2023, X[5] user @blizzy_mcguire reposted the screenshot, gaining over 2,000 reposts and 34,000 likes in five months.

On August 8th, 2022, Tumblr[6] user boarloved-art posted the earliest redraw of the exchange, replacing the photograph with a drawing of the character Jens Lyndelle from Not Another D&D Podcast. The post (shown below, left) received over 350 likes and reblogs in two years. On August 24th, Tumblr[7] user theweirdolol posted an Eddsworld edit that garnered over 120 likes and reblogs in the same period (shown below, right).

The screenshot of the exchange saw more use as a meme format and reference for redraws in 2023 and 2024, with examples appearing on Tumblr, X and Pinterest. For example, on April 20th, 2024, X[8] user @vampivile posted a Metal Gear Solid edit that redraw over 360 reposts and 2,200 likes in two days (shown below).
