Posted It Again Award refers to a series of memes that depict a smug Soyjak wearing a ribbon award with certain text on it. The exploitable meme was spawned by a version reading "Posted it again award," initially used to point out that a certain user copied an already existing post. Multiple edits of the image have since been shared on Soyjak.party and other websites, with users recaptioning the text on the ribbon. A popular iteration was the Fell For It Again Award which surfaced a year after the original.

Origin

On May 11th, 2022, an anonymous SoyBooru^[1] user archived an image of a smug Soyjak character wearing a ribbon award with the words "Posted it again award" on it (shown below).

Spread

The image had been used on the Soyjak.party board to call out users for reposting already existing threads and copying their own posts.

Following a period of use on the imageboard and on 4chan,^[2]^[3] the earliest edits based on the image were created. On July 14th, 2022, an anonymous SoyBooru^[4] user archived a Chudjak version (shown below, left). On February 13th, 2023, SoyBooru^[5] user Sir_Gemerald_Bleu archived the image of just the ribbon (shown below, right).

Multiple edits which replaced the text on the ribbon were circulated on Soyjak.party and subsequently archived on SoyBooru^[6]^[7]^[8] in 2023 and 2024 (examples shown below).

Following its popularity on Soyjak.party, the meme saw occasional use on other sites, including Reddit and X / Twitter. For example, on July 17th, 2023, Redditor balaci2 posted a caption meme based on the image to the /r/doom^[9] subreddit, where it gained over 830 upvotes in nine months (shown below, left).

On April 8th, 2024, X^[10] user @Animywrangel posted a version of the meme to comment on the lasting popularity of the Sam Hyde Did It meme, with the post gaining over 20 reposts and 370 likes in 10 days (shown below, right).

Fell For It Again Reward

Fell For It Again Award refers to a popular variant showing a shocked Soyjak with a blue ribbon award reading, "Fell For It Again Award," as in, falling for bait or other lies. The meme was commonly used in quote tweets to mock people for being gullible. Exploitable signifiers were often added to the image, like one popular iteration showing a Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat on the Soyjak; it was used to make fun of Donald Trump supporters.
