About

Pooja, What Is This Behavior? refers to a catchphrase that emerged from a viral video of two women arguing in an Indian reality TV show. The clip emerged from an episode of "Bigg Boss," which is an Indian remake of Big Brother, and featured women named Pooja Misrra and Shonali Nagrani fighting over a petty dispute. Pooja knocks over a trash can, prompting Shonali to say "Pooja, what is this behavior?" and Pooja to respond "I kicked it by mistake," before the argument escalates. The phrase grew popular on Twitter before making its way to TikTok.

Origin

On 14th October, 2011, episode 13 of Bigg Boss Season 5 aired on Colours TV in India.[6] The episode featured an increasingly erratic Pooja Misrra entering a confrontation with fellow contestant Shonali Nagrani. After Pooja kicks over a trashcan, she and Shonali begin to argue. Some often quoted lines from the argument are as follows

*Shonali: "Pooja, what is this behaviour?"
*Pooja: "I kicked it by mistake."
*Shonali: "You can't kick it by mistake"
*Pooja: "Then pick it up if it bothers you."
*Shonali: "No, you'll pick it up"
*Pooja: "You don't tell me what to do."
*Shonali: "Or what, are you gonna hit me?"
*Pooja: "You're asking for it! You're dying for it! Get off. My back."
