The TikToker became the subject of discourse and came to be mocked for her vague statements about "buying a business" in her Slideshow post. TikTokers and internet users posted jokes that hinged on her supposedly exhibiting a lack of understanding about business management, with people joking about her trying to buy "one business, please" or going to the "business store" and asking if they sell businesses. Other TikTokers joked about her saying that she planned to "thrive alone" and go to the "club every night."

On July 23th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @miathxoxo posted a Plan A / Plan B TikTok video in which she talked about how her "Plan A" is to "get married," "go to med school," "go into peds surgery" and "work 4 days a week," and her "Plan B" is to "move to Miami alone," "teach myself everything about stocks and finances, "buy a business," "thrive alone" and "club every night."

The post gathered over 2 million plays and 120,000 likes in five days.

Several Instagram pages reposted the post on July 24th, including Instagram^[2][3] pages @fashionruinedmylife and @yungvec, who gathered over 7,000 likes each in four days.

Several internet users posted memes and jokes about MiathXOXO's "Buy a Business" post in late July 2025 as it went viral.

For example, on July 25th, 2025, TikToker^[5] @peoplesfreedom posted a video reacting to @MiathXOXO's TikTok slideshow, gathering over 800,000 plays and 100,000 likes in four days.

On July 26th, TikToker^[4] @tillzfx posted a video that read, "Me counting up all the money I have so I can buy a business and club every night in Miami," gathering over 700,000 plays and 100,000 likes in three days.

On July 27th, TikToker^[6] @polobourne posted a meme featuring LeBron James, writing, "Me after I move to Miami alone, teach myself everything about stocks, buy a business at the business store, and club every night." The post gathered over 300,000 plays and 60,000 likes in two days.
