Pizza Tower Special Guest Fanart is a trend among fans of the indie game, Pizza Tower to create fan art that mimics the in-game level title card showcasing the name of the level and the special guest that's featured in the level. These title cards are mostly made using the art style of Pizza Tower, but can incorporate the art style of the original video game, manga, or anime series they are referencing.

Origin

Within the game itself, a cameo with the character Mort the Chicken occurs, with the title card of the level revealing Mort as the special guest (shown below, left), giving fans the inspiration to create their own versions. On February 8th, 2023, at 3:16 PM, Twitter user @Officiallythat2^[1] (also known as OfficiallyThatBoi on Newgrounds), uploaded a piece of fanart in the style of Pizza Tower's level intro title cards. In the image, Peppino Spaghetti and Madeline, who is pointed out as a special guest, are standing at the foot of her game's titular 'Celeste Mountain'. As with other title cards in-game, the level name 'The Last Straw-berry' is put at a corner of the scene. The image, combined with the description teasing it as a secret level, received over 15,000 likes in one week (shown below, right).

Later in the week, on February 11th, Twitter user and fan art creator @Dum_Faec^[2] tweeted a work titled 'Bullet Hell (Special Guest: Reimu Hakurei)' depicting Peppino being assaulted on all sides by particles, laser beams, and missiles while the main heroine of the Touhou series, Reimu, looks back at him with a smile. This work has since generated over 106k views and 7k likes in three days (shown below).

That same day, another fan art of Pizza Tower's special guest feature was uploaded, this time by the artist @MrKenen^[3], but noticably taking place with Peppino being within the One Piece universe, a manga instead of a game. The name of the special level, High Seas Cook Off, with Sanji serving a pizza to Peppino, and the Special Guest of The Straw Hat Pirates appears on the art piece which gathered over 6,000 likes and 100,000 views in three days (shown below).
