The Pink Palm Springs Shirt Conversation GIF, also known as the Palm Springs Diva, is a viral reaction GIF of a blonde gay man in a pink Palm Springs shirt holding an engaging conversation with two people. His seen pointing and gesturing back and forth with the two people, also wearing a gold watch and red lipstick. The GIF trended on Twitter / X in June 2024, specifically within Stan Twitter circles. People typically used it to exemplify a great conversation. The original video was posted to TikTok by Italian TikToker Francesco Nozzolino (@francesco.nozzolino).
Origin
On May 20th, 2024, TikToker[1] @francesco.nozzolino posted a video of himself talking to two people in a store. He's shown with blonde hair, red lipstick, wearing a pink Palm Springs T-shirt, jean shorts and gold shoes. In one month, the video received roughly 373,800 plays and 5,400 likes (shown below).
On June 14th, 2024, X[2] user @lnthemood4Iove shared a GIF of the abovementioned video, showing the TikToker pointing and gesturing back and forth between the two people (shown below, left). @lnthemood4Iove captioned it, "Should we do a little key ? Should we have a little line ?" gaining over 8,300 likes in 12 days. The post is currently the first known usage of the GIF (shown below, right).

On June 15th, 2024, X[3] user @o38o38o8o tweeted the GIF, captioning it, "me introducing people I just met at the bar to each other," receiving over 18,000 likes in 11 days (shown below, left). On June 25th, the GIF resurfaced when X[4] user @gn2ale tweeted it, captioned, "the camera work on this gif," gaining over 9,600 likes in a day (shown below, right).
Later on June 25th, 2024, X[5] user @cjnieI tweeted the original TikTok video, gaining over 2,500 likes in a day. The video was then reposted by X[6] user @fmsgl on June 25th, who wrote, "There’s no way this was in Italian this whole time," receiving over 9,500 likes in a day (shown below).
