The "Run It" Phineas and Ferb TikTok Dance is a TikTok dance trend set to a sped-up version of Chris Brown's "Run It" where participants do a dance that's often compared to the dancing from the cartoon Phineas and Ferb. The dance, denoted by alternatively tapping your feet, bending over and moving your posterior from side to side in an exaggerated way, was created by TikTok @lakii101 and popularized on TikTok in December 2022, often in videos comparing it to the cartoon.
Origin
On November 30th, 2022, TikToker[1] @lakii101 posted a video where they do a dance set to a sped-up version of "Run It," directly comparing the dance to Phineas and Ferb in the caption, writing, "ion think nobody did ts😇 except candance off Phineas and Ferb maybe 😂" garnering over 750,000 views in a month (shown below).
Spread
The dance began to spread under the same original sound over the following weeks. One of the first notable viral examples was posted by TikToker[2] @shamxr.0ficiall_ on December 10th, 2022, garnering over 1.7 million views in two weeks. On December 17th, TikToker[3] @souppa..douppa posted a video doing the dance that gained over 30 million views in 10 days (shown below, left). On December 25th, TikToker[4] @sinnialeksandra posted a version that gained over 9 million views in two days (shown below, right).
