About

Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV is a quote from President Donald Trump bragging about how he did very well on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test, which he took in 2018. While boasting about his results, he mentioned that a particularly difficult part of the exam required him to recall items in an order. The quote led to a surge of jokes centering around "Person, woman, man, camera, TV."

Origin

On July 22nd, 2020, Trump appeared on Fox News in an interview with Chris Wallace, where he bragged about the results from a cognitive exam he took in 2018. In his description of his success, he bragged about how we was able to remember five words in order: "Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV."[1]

“The first questions are very easy; the last questions are much more difficult, like a memory question. It’s like, you’ll go: person, woman, man, camera, TV. So they’d say, ‘Could you repeat that?' So I said, ‘Yeah.' So it’s person, woman, man, camera, TV. ‘Okay, that’s very good.' If you get it in order, you get extra points. If you -- okay. Now he’s asking you other questions, other questions, and then 10 minutes, 15-20 minutes later, they’d say, ‘remember the first question?’ Not the first, but the 10th question -- ‘Give us that again, can you do that again?' And you go, 'person, woman, man, camera, TV.’ If you get it in order, you get extra points.”

The clip spread on Twitter as people were aghast at Trump boasting at his ability to remember five things in order.
