Yuno Miles is a meme rapper known for his intentionally poor audio quality, comedic lyrics and vocalizations of animals and objects during his raps. He frequently raps over goofy ahh trap beats, as well as beats that sample cartoons and video games. In 2022, Yuno Miles gained virality on TikTok for his song "Put The Money In The Bag," a parody of SoundCloud rap.

History

On December 13th, 2019, Yuno Miles posted his first rap song on YouTube.[1] The song, titled "Pokemon," features Yuno rapping over a trap version of the Futurama theme song and gained over 15,700 views in two years (shown below). On January 9th, 2020, Yuno Miles posted the song "Hot Tamale" to SoundCloud,[2] his first upload to the site.

On January 15th, Yuno posted a song titled "Avengers" to YouTube, gaining over 100,000 views in two years (shown below). The lyrics reference shows including SpongeBob SquarePants and Caillou. The song's cover image is Walter. On December 4th, 2021, Yuno posted his first video to TikTok,[3] consisting of a clip from his song "Dookie On My Shoe."

Road to Riches

On December 3rd, 2021, Yuno released the song "Road to Riches" on YouTube,[4] gaining over 129,000 views in four months. Occasionally throughout the song, he vocalizes the exaggerated sounds of a pigeon and a lottery machine. On March 4th, 2022, he released a music video for the song, gaining over 224,000 views in a month (shown below).

On March 29th Yuno uploaded a clip of the video to TikTok,[5] gaining over 3 million views in a week. The video is captioned, "goofy ahh rapper," referencing the intentional ridiculousness of the song. The original sound became notably popular, inspiring over 6,000 videos by April 8th (examples shown below).

"Put The Money In The Bag"

On April 4th, 2022, Yuno released the song and music video for "Put The Money In The Bag" to YouTube,[6] gaining over 100,000 views in four days (shown below). He posted a clip from the video to TikTok[7] on April 5th, gaining over 9.7 million views in three days. The video caption reads, "SoundCloud rappers gotta stop this shit." The original sound for "Put The Money In The Bag" inspired roughly 590 videos in the same span of time.
