Wanessa Wolf is a Brazilian trans-woman, drag queen, gamer and streamer. She is known for her unique way of making livestreams and entertaining viewers with her talk shows and gameplay videos. Wanessa started creating content on the internet around 2018, gaining a prominent following from the LGBTQ+ community, who often create memes on TikTok, Twitter and Facebook to poke fun at her or share interesting clips of the streamer.

Career

On February 18th, 2018, Wanessa Wolf[1] made her first online appearance. The YouTube[2] channel @QueensOConcurso, an account dedicated to showing drag queen performances in Rio de Janeiro, posted a video of Wanessa's show (shown below), which garnered over 5,000 views and 400 likes in five years. A month later, on March 12th, 2018, she uploaded her first YouTube[3] video, titled "How I've been dealing with my illness and life as a drag queen." The post (shown below) garnered over 51,000 views and 9,000 likes in five years.

Streaming Career

Wanessa Wolf started livestreaming her gameplay videos on March 28th, 2018. The clip[4] of her stream (shown below, left) playing the horror game Outlast garnered over 18,000 views and 2,400 likes in four years. Wanessa would also stream Grand Theft Auto mod matches[5] (shown below, right), as the video posted on June 21st, 2018, shows. The post garnered over 83,000 views and 6,700 likes in four years.

Donates and Fan Interactions

Wanessa achieved prominence in the LGBTQ+ gaming community for the way she interacts with fans and the messages they sent via donations during the livestreams. For instance, on May 17th, 2022, she posted a video[6] on her channel titled "Embarrassing donates, performances and lots of freaking out," to which she gathered a collection of fan demands via donations and things she did for them during the streams. The video (shown below) garnered over 338,000 views and 30,000 likes in one year.

Online Presence

Online, Wanessa has grown a notable fanbase of viewers and followers, though sometimes it's perceived as toxic. For instance, on June 24th, 2022, TikToker[7] @acervowanessawolf uploaded a clip of the drag queen stream in which a fan sent a donation just to call the streamer a "drunk and an old whore." The post (shown below, left) garnered over 378,000 plays and 63,800 likes in a year. In another livestream clip, uploaded on December 30th, 2022, by user @doenterssterss,[8] a fan gave a donation just to comment on Wanessa's appearance, to which she aggressively answered back. The video (shown below, right) garnered over 834,000 plays and 115,000 likes in eight months.

Personal Life

Wanessa Wolf was born on August 11th, 1989. As of July 2023, she has accumulated over 210,000 followers on YouTube, 244,000 followers on Instagram[9] and 200,000 on Facebook.[10]
