About

The Faithful Sheriff is a Christian Twitch streamer and YouTuber, formerly known as DrWitnesser, who uses a 3D VTuber avatar of a peanut dressed as a wild west sheriff, similarly to the streamer TheBurntPeanut. Before rebranding as The Faithful Sheriff, DrWitnesser was known to preach the Bible to children on video games while streaming. He was once banned on Twitch for his remarks toward players and also garnered controversy for saying the N-word on stream.

DrWitnesser rebranded to The Faithful Sheriff in February 2025 and was quickly recognized as DrWitnesser. He became the subject of a callout video by comedian and YouTuber Kurtis Conner later that month that quickly gained millions of views. In March 2026, The Faithful Sheriff became the subject of memes that make fun of him and his peanut persona. In mid-March 2026, The Faithful Sheriff called out SuperMega for creating an edit of him with a visible penis and claiming that he commissioned it from them.

History

DrWitnesser

DrWitnesser is a streamer known for playing video games like Fortnite and preaching the Bible to players, with many of these players being children. He has been deemed a controversial figure by many online for what they perceive as anti-LGBTQ+ viewpoints, open use of racial slurs and more.

Several controversial clips of DrWitnesser have gone viral, including a clip of him defending the use of the N-word in certain contexts and a clip of him telling a young boy that Santa Claus isn't real.[1] In 2021, DrWitnesser was temporarily banned on Twitch for telling a muslim boy he was going to hell.[2]

The Faithful Sheriff Rebrand

On February 7th, 2026, while his account was still branded as "DrWitnesser," DrWitnesser made a post on X[3] claiming that they got into a "horrible accident" and would stream that upcoming Monday, the 9th, to talk about it. The post was clickbait to promote his debut stream as The Faithful Sheriff, a 3D VTuber character depicted as a sheriff peanut with a Southern accent.

DrWitnesser subsequently rebranded all of his social media accounts to The Faithful Sheriff and deleted much of his content as DrWitnesser.

On February 12th, The Faithful Peanut posted a video on YouTube[4] responding to confusion over his rebrand as a peanut VTuber. In the video, he explains that it's fun and denies that it's a rebrand, saying, "I'm still DrWitnesser." He explains a storyline behind the character that involves him getting cursed by TheBurntPeanut. He says that he's hoping to collaborate with TheBurntPeanut to help spread the gospel to kids.

He also mentions that he gets many death threats, has experienced swatting attempts and would rather keep the inside of his house and his face off the internet now, claiming that people post his address online regularly.

The Faithful Peanut continued to post content playing Fortnite on his YouTube channel and social media pages throughout February and March 2026.

Penis Meme Drama With SuperMega

On March 10th, 2026, as memes about The Faithful Sheriff grew in virality on sites like X / Twitter, the supermega X[5] account posted an edit of The Faithful Sheriff with a visible penis, writing, "The Faithful Sheriff (TheFaithSheriff) asked us to recreate this image using his likeness so he can feel more included!" gaining over 8,100 likes in a day.

The edit is based on a previous edit by SuperMega depicting TheBurntPeanut with a penis.

Later that day, The Faithful Sheriff responded to the post through a comment,[6] writing, "I didn't think I would have to post this, but apparently some of y'all are a little slow. I don't know these people, and I never asked for this. Obviously this is a joke that they did…" He proceeded to be trolled by several other X users, including SuperMega, who insisted he commissioned the meme.

On March 11th, 2026, SuperMega posted a fake DM exchange on X[7] between themselves and The Faithful Sheriff, where it appears as if he commissions the meme and sends them a real photograph of his penis for reference.

Also on March 11th, The Faithful Sheriff made a post on X[8] reading, "Look, I don't mind a funny meme or joke about me here and there. But to take it so far as to double down on the fact that me, a Christian content creator requested an X rated meme photo of myself is going a bit to far in my book."

Later, he posted a video on X[9] about the whole situation, denying the DMs and threatening legal action if they continue to troll him.
