Susan Calloway^[1] is a recording soloist singer, songwriter, pianist, guitarist, and vocalist, who is famously known for singing the Final Fantasy XIV soundtracks that rose her music career to fame after she was chosen by legendary Final Fantasy soundtrack composer Nobuo Uematsu to sing the theme song Answers for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

History

At a young age, Susan Calloway has a talent in music. She started her path in the music industry as a singer-songwriter and founding member of the American band Red C. Susan later parted ways with Red C to focus on her music career as a soloist singer. In 2010, her first EP in its title track, Chasin' the Sun, ranked up to #37 on national R&B charts.

Susan Calloway joined the Final Fantasy community to perform her work as a soloist singer for the concert albums Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy along with performing the Final Fantasy theme songs Distant Worlds from Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia, Suteki da ne from Final Fantasy X, and Melodies of Life from Final Fantasy IX. After performing Distant Worlds, Susan Calloway was chosen by legendary Final Fantasy soundtrack composer Nobuo Uematsu and accepted his request to sing the original theme song Answers for the relaunch of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Susan Calloway rose to fame with thousands of fans and newer fans from both the music industry and the gaming industry. In June 2015 during E3 2015 at Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater, Susan Calloway was interviewed on Fox News Entertainment (Fox 411) to talk about her involvement with the Final Fantasy franchise and her new EP.
