Super Eyepatch Wolf, real name John Walsh, is an Irish YouTuber who makes video essays on various pop culture media, primarily anime and video games. Since launching his channel in 2015, he has gained over 940,000 subscribers and his videos regularly receive hundreds of thousands of views.
John Walsh started the Super Eyepatch Wolf channel on December 18th, 2015.[1] His first video, titled, "Why You Should Watch Hunter x Hunter," posted December 20th of that year, gained over 1.8 million views (shown below).
The video's format became one of the staples of his channels, as many subsequent videos found him praising a piece of media, whether that be an anime, manga, or video game.
