Solid JJ is a voice actor and a YouTuber best known for his comedy skits featuring original writing based on various characters and memes, including videos based on characters from Metal Gear Solid, The Three Stooges, Pokemon and animated superhero shows from the 1970s and 1980s. Solid JJ popularized Stoogeposting among other memes.

Online History

On April 30th, 2019, Solid JJ created his Instagram^[1] and X^[2] / Twitter accounts, posting a voiced version of a Metal Gear Codec Conversation meme on the same day. The video (shown below) accumulated over 480 likes on Instagram^[3] in four years.

On June 23rd, 2019, Solid JJ launched his YouTube^[4] channel, posting also posting his videos there from that point on. On that day, Solid JJ posted a video in which he read the Navy Seal Copypasta in Naked Snake's voice. The upload (shown below) received over 35,000 views on YouTube^[5] in four years.

On his accounts, Solid JJ posted comedy videos featuring original writing and based on characters from various television series and video games, most notably from Metal Gear Solid, Columbo, Pokemon and various superhero animated series from the 1970s and 1980s. The creator achieved initial success on X / Twitter and YouTube in late 2020 as several of his videos went viral: for example, on December 22nd, 2020, Solid JJ posted a motivational video in Solid Snake's voice that gained over 20,600 reposts and 51,000 likes on X^[6] in three years (shown below).

Solid JJ's comedy videos achieved more recognition in 2021 and 2022 both on Twitter and on YouTube. On March 4th and April 8th, 2022, Solid JJ posted his two most-viewed YouTube^[7][8] videos as of October 2023 (shown below, left and right).

Solid JJ reached one million subscribers on YouTube on April 7th, 2023.^[9]
