Overview

Rizz Academy or RizzAcademy5 is a TikToker who posts videos where he approaches women and attempts to rizz them up by reciting corny pickup lines, often failing to get the girls' numbers. Rizz Academy started posting videos on the app in September 2023 and continued to post them throughout October, inspiring reactions from creators including Cr1TiKaL and Cody Ko that month, the former calling his content cringe and the latter calling it "hard to watch."

Online History

On September 14th, 2023, TikToker^[1] @rizzacademy5 posted his first video, in which he approaches a girl on what appears to be a college campus and says, "Excuse me, have you seen my girlfriend? She looks like this," then shows her a photograph of herself, garnering over 5,000 views in two months (shown below).

The TikToker continued to upload "rizz academy" videos over the following weeks, some gaining viral acclaim. On October 2nd, the TikToker^[2] uploaded a video that gained over 460,000 views in a month (shown below, left). On October 6th, he uploaded a video to TikTok^[3] that gained over 2.5 million views in a month, marking his first video to hit over a million views (shown below, right).

On October 9th, the TikToker^[4] posted a video that garnered over 4.1 million views in a month (shown below, left). On October 11th, he posted a video to TikTok^[5] that gained over 1.1 million views in the same span of time (shown below, right).

Online Presence

On October 31st, 2023, YouTuber^[6] Cody & Ko posted a video where he reacts to a number of Rizz Academy's videos, garnering over 850,000 views in two days (shown below, left). On November 1st, YouTuber^[7] penguinz0 posted a reaction video to Rizz Academy that gained over 1.3 million views in a day (shown below, right).
