About

Raluca or Raluca Granola is the online name of the Brazilian YouTuber, who is known for his cross-dressing content focused on trolling strangers on Discord, Omegle and streams. The creator was involved in a controversy in April 2023 after posting a video accusing a YouTuber of harassment, but later it was discovered that the recording was decontextualized, causing other creators to comment about the toxic trolling Raluca does to gain more engagement.

History

Raluca grew an online audience on TikTok[1] around September 2019 by posting videos about cross-dressing and joining other popular trends on the platform. The first viral video[2] of the creator was uploaded on July 16th, 2020, responding to a user who questioned his gender. The video (seen below) garnered 2.2 million plays and 208,000 likes in three years.

The creator joined YouTube[3] on April 16th, 2015, but his earliest video[4] was uploaded on June 17th, 2022, which shows him confronting an alleged stalker. The video (seen below) received 485,000 views and 4,400 comments in three years.

Raluca Cancelled

In early March 2023, the YouTuber Raluca uploaded a video (now deleted) titled "16 minutes of a famous red pill humiliating himself." The video shows a Discord conversation with the Brazilian YouTuber Jean L,[5] who Raluca is accusing of harassment. The video was reuploaded on YouTube[6] by @andymiau0 on April, 17th, 2023, receiving 15,000 views and 674 likes in a month (seen below).

Raluca's 16-minute video went viral and shortly after, on March 20th, 2023, Jean L took to YouTube[7] to respond to the accusations, garnering 33,000 views and 1,500 likes in three months (seen below).

The feud between the two YouTubers became a trending topic on the platform and instigated Brazilian creator @Diggo_[8] to upload a video on April 12th, 2023 exposing all the toxic behavior Raluca had allegedly been doing online. His video (seen below) garnered 6.4 million views and 661,000 likes in a month.

Most people on the internet were not understanding the feud between the Brazilian YouTubers, leading to a series of ironic memes making fun of the creators. For example, YouTuber[9] canalinutilismo uploaded on May 9th, 2023, a 12-minute video cleaning his yard in silence titled "My opinion about the Raluca case." The video (seen below) garnered 914,000 views and 204,000 likes in a week.

Twitter[10] users also commented on Raluca's case, like @RashFordInsider's post on May 8th, 2023, showing a Brazilian work permit, indicating that people who spend their time on this subject need to find a job. The post (seen below) garnered 857 likes and 108 retweets in a week.
