NPC Miles Morales, also known as NPC Spider-Man, refers to the NPC streaming persona of TikToker @leaks._.world who portrayed a non-playable character version of the Spider-Man character Miles Morales on TikTok LIVE starting in mid-2023. @leaks._.world followed in the footsteps of other NPC streamers on the app like Pinkydoll and Cherry Crush TV. He continued to go viral as NPC Miles Morales via livestreams and screen recording reposts that spread across social media platforms like Twitter. NPC Miles Morales also went viral for breaking character on numerous occasions, including one time when he pressed and intimidated a stranger who heckled him in public.

Online History

TikToker @leaks._.world, who later became known as NPC Miles Morales, started uploading videos to TikTok^[1] on September 10th, 2021. Despite this, he didn't upload Miles Morales-related content until he posted a TikTok^[2] on May 22nd, 2023, in which he played Spider-Man trying to help a feminist, gaining roughly 20,900 plays in three months (shown below, left). On June 5th, 2023, he posted another Miles Morales-related TikTok^[3] that gained 205,700 plays in one month (shown below, right). The video came after the release of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse and used the Nah I'mma Do My Own Thing audio.

Sometime in mid-2023, TikToker @leaks._.world gained over 1,000 followers on TikTok, allowing him to go LIVE on TikTok in which he played the part of an NPC Miles Morales, following the success of other NPC Streamers on the app that gained eminence and notoriety in mid-2023. The first-known evidence of @leaks._.world as NPC Miles Morales was posted on June 3rd, 2023, by TikToker^[4] @flash_slowww, whose video received roughly 36,200 plays in two months (shown below).

NPC Miles Morales Breaks Character

On July 18th, 2023, TikToker^[5] @complistic posted a screen recording of an NPC Miles Morales LIVE in which he broke character for a moment to laugh, gaining roughly 449,100 plays and 24,300 likes in two weeks (shown below, left). On July 19th, 2023, TikToker^[6] @shairpwr111 posted a video in which he saw @leaks._.world on LIVE in Hollywood and stream sniped him. The video spliced together footage of him interrupting his livestream as well as a screen recording of @leaks._.world's LIVE. It received roughly 754,300 plays and 105,900 likes in 13 days (shown below, right).

On July 29th, 2023, Twitter^[7] user @killuazivert posted a screen recording of a then-recent NPC Miles Morales LIVE in which he broke character to confront someone who was harassing him. TikToker @leaks._.world intimidated the man, saying, among other things, "Let me do my nerdy shit in peace before I beat your ass." In three days, the tweet received roughly 66.6 million views and 322,400 likes (shown below).

On July 30th, 2023, TikToker^[8] @yusefultra reposted the screen recording, gaining roughly 347,800 plays and 47,900 likes in two days.
