About

Mooptopia is an American TikToker that quickly rose to fame in June 2020 and quit the platform about a month later. She is known for her outsider videos, popular on alt TikTok, where she is typically presumed high on marijuana due to her bloodshot eyes. Although little is known for sure about the influencer, her name is allegedly Anastasiya Boryslavska according to her fans who've named themselves Moops or Moop Nation.

Online History

On June 8th, 2020, Mooptopia uploaded her first video of some rustling bedsheets set to the sound clip "OUT WEST – JACKBOYS & Travis Scott" which garnered over 15,700 likes in a month. The next day, she uploaded a video of herself urinating outside saying she didn't know where she was which received over 225,600 likes in a month (shown below, left). On June 23rd, Mooptopia replied to a comment's request of a storytime with a video of herself mumbling (shown below, right). The video accumulated over 47,100 likes in three weeks.

By late June, Mooptopia had a large following and became known for her signature confusing videos. On June 25th, she uploaded a video of herself saying she was drunk and walking by a highway (shown below, left). The video gained over 23,200 likes in three weeks. On July 5th, she uploaded a popular video of herself lip-syncing to "Wild Ones" by Flo Rida which accumulated over 950,200 likes in 11 days (shown below, center). On July 7th, she uploaded another nonsensical video of herself with bloodshot eyes and acquired over 20,600 likes in nine days. Soon after that video, she started a merch website Mooptopia.^[1]

Leaving TikTok

On July 15th, 2020, Mooptopia announced she would be quitting TikTok in a video which gained over 791,000 likes in a day (shown below). The video only featured text reading, "I'm sorry moops but its been a hard time for me lately and i must part away from tik too this has been a fun journey. thank u for all the kindness and laughs – i still, and need will, support trump or anything he stands for."

On July 15th, Twitter user @charlotteslooks^[2] tweeted, "mooptopia rlly took over everyone’s fyp, had merch for 5 hours and then quit tiktok-" which received over 8,500 likes and 460 retweets in a day (shown below).

That same day, TikTokers began mourning her departure from the app. TikToker nickolas_ray uploaded a video of himself crying over her message which accumulated over 445,200 likes in a day. Dexerto^[3] and HITC^[4] reported on Mooptopia's decision to leave TikTok.

Reputation

Within two months of Mooptopia's presence on TikTok,^[7] she amassed over 1.3 million followers. She has been dubbed by Dexerto,^[3] the queen of Alt TikTok.

Moop Nation

Mooptopia's followers dubbed themselves Moop Nation or simply Moops and created fan edits dedicated to the TikToker. TikTokers holdensmith962, tooturntteebird and alluqin published fan videos that acquired over 61,300 likes, 178,900 likes and 353,300 likes respectively in three days (shown below).

Personal Life

According to sites like Celebfortune^[5] and Celebpie,^[6] Anastasiya Boryslavska is alleged American, in a relationship and believed to be 17, as of July 2020.
