Luke Blovad is a TikTok creator most-known for his fashion TikToks featuring nostalgic clothing referencing Gen Z signifiers like SpongeBob, Minecraft, LMFAO, Among Us, Call of Duty, Roblox and many others. His videos often read as thirst traps, involving him dancing and preening for the camera sporting boy-like clothing. Before TikTok, Blovad was a notable skateboarder on Instagram and ran a streetwear brand, something he's continued into 2022.

Luke Blovad was born in Portland, Oregon in 1999, making him 22 as of March 2022. Blovad was a notable skateboarder before anything else, having a presence in the Instagram street skateboarding community. He made his first, skateboarding Instagram[1] post on September 24th, 2017.
The first-known clip of Blovad skating was posted to YouTube on February 20th, 2012, by the channel of Austin Colhouer, where over the course of 10 years, it received roughly 1,900 views (shown below, left). In 2018, he started skating with the Supreme adjacent skateboarding collective EC Melodi, where he appeared in multiple videos shot and directed by videographer Ian Ostrowski. His first appearance in an Ostrowski video was posted on September 14th, 2018, titled, "scrabble," where over the course of four years, it received roughly 2,700 views (shown below, right).
Luke Blovad continued to post skateboarding clips and content to his Instagram page going into 2020. Around this time, he started his own clothing brand called Fuck This Industry, which he officially founded in December 2020. The company has both a website[2] and an Instagram[3] page, which, as of March 2022, has amassed roughly 14,100 followers.
TikTok Presence
On July 28th, 2021, Blovad posted his first TikTok,[4] featuring a video of him lip-syncing a remix of the song "Like a G6" by Far East Movement. Over the course of seven months, the video received roughly 31,300 plays and over 700 likes (shown below, left). Although the aforementioned video is his first TikTok, Blovad didn't go viral until he posted a TikTok[5] on November 28th, 2021, of him lip-syncing a nightcore remix of the song "Your Love Is My Drug" by Ke$ha in front of a Boost Mobile store while wearing a Pickle Rick T-shirt and other signifiers of 2010s aesthetics. The video received roughly 197,000 plays and 33,800 likes over the course of three months (shown below, right). Users in the comment section of the video likened him to Anthony Padilla from Smosh.
Blovad continued to post fashion TikToks going into 2022 with his channel accumulating more plays, likes and followers. For instance, his first TikTok[6] to receive over 500,000 plays was posted on January 17th, 2022. It features him wearing a Minecraft Creeper hoodie and received roughly 713,500 plays and 131,600 likes over the course of two months (shown below, left). His most viral TikTok[7] as of March 2022 was posted on February 17th, 2022, and received roughly 2.3 million plays and 434,300 likes over the course of four weeks (shown below, right). It features him wearing an all-over print Roblox hoodie.
As of March 8th, 2022, his TikTok page[8] has amassed roughly 155,600 followers.
Luke Blovad Copycats
In March 2022, Luke Blovad started to get impersonated and replicated by other TikTokers. For instance, on March 6th, 2022, TikToker[9] boysfromthe8 posted a video of three guys recreating Blovad's video style, earning roughly 74,100 plays and 16,900 likes in two days (shown below, left). On March 7th, TikToker[10] 555kyreem posted a video with the caption reading, "Luke core," in reference to Blovad, earning roughly 143,00 plays and 24,200 likes in less than 24 hours (shown below, right).
Music Videos
On February 26th, 2022, Blovad uploaded the music video for his self-titled song, "Luke Blovad," to YouTube, earning roughly 6,900 views and 580 likes over the course of two weeks (shown below).
