Milana Vayntrub, better known as Lily From AT&T, is an Uzbekistan-born American actress and comedian best known for her role of saleswoman Lily Adams in the series of AT&T commercials that aired between 2013 and 2017, and again in 2020. Earning a status that of a sex symbol after her appearance in the commercials, Vayntrub has been a subject of extensive hornyposting online.

Online History

Between 2013 and 2017, AT&T aired a series of TV commercials starring actress Milana Vayntrub as saleswoman Lily Adams (compilation shown below).[1]

Starting in 2014, Vayntrub gained online recognition, particularly as a sex symbol. For example, on December 22nd, 2014, comedian Conan O'Brian tweeted[2] "All I want for Christmas is a cat-fight between Flo the Progressive Lady and Lily the AT&T Lady," with the tweet gaining over 3,700 retweets and 3,000 likes in six years.

Between 2015 and 2016, a number of news websites posted articles about the actress, the character and her popularity as a sex symbol. For example, on April 5th, 2015, The Buzzkill Magazine[3] posted an article "The Hall of Hotties: Lily from AT&T." On February 2nd, 2016, Coed[4] posted a collection of Vayntrub's photographs.

2020 Hornyposting

In May 2020, Vayntrub returned to her role as Lily Adams, with AT&T uploading two commercials starring the actress to YouTube[5][6] on May 11th (shown below, left and right).

On July 18th, TikTok user familyguypost posted a clip from Family Guy in which the main character Peter Griffin inquires about the name of the actress who plays the "AT&T chick." The clip received 33,300 likes and 265,000 views in one month. On August 10th, 2020, Vayntrub reposted the clip to her Instagram, with the post gaining over 735,800 views and 77,800 likes (shown below).

On August 17th, 2020, AT&T[7] posted a 5G commercial starring Vayntrub as Lily (shown below). The video received over 1.1 million views and 92,500 likes in one week.

On August 22nd, 2020, Twitter[8] user @weluvbk tweeted "y’all why the AT&T lady so fine 😳," with the tweet gaining over 25,400 retweets and 207,500 likes in four days (shown below).

Following the viral spread of the tweet, the comments to the AT&T commercial were flooded with hornyposts, including multiple comments referring to Vayntrub's breasts as "milkers." (screenshots shown below).

Following the influx of comments which sexualized Vayntrub, AT&T disabled comments to the video. The influx of hornyposting directed at Vayntrub sparked viral discussions of Twitter.[9][10] On August 24th, 2020, Barstool Sports[11] reported on it.

On Augsut 23rd, 2020, Vayntrub addressed the comments and posts in an Instagram story (shown below).
