Olajide William Olatunji or KSI is a British YouTuber and boxer best known for his gameplay videos, rapping, and YouTube feuds.
Online History
On July 24th, 2009 KSI joined YouTube and uploaded his first YouTube video on January 31st, 2010. The video, titled "Modern Warfare 2 Care Package Kill," features Call of Duty:MW2 gameplay (shown below). The video has gained over 800,000 views in nine years.
KSI has gained over 20.1 million subscribers in ten years. On July 26th, 2014, KSI uploaded his second most popular YouTube video which gained over 52 million views in five years. The video features himself and friends kicking a soccer ball attempting to hit the crossbar (shown below, left). On March 25th, 2015, KSI uploaded his most popular video with over 104 million views and 1.9 million likes in four years. The video is the official music video for his single "Lamborhini" featuring P. Money (shown below, right).

On March 23rd, 2015, KSI released his debut single titled "Lamborghini", which features rapper P Money. On January 8th, 2016, His debut EP titled, Keep Up was released debuted at number 13 on the UK Albums Charts and at number one on the UK R&B Albums Charts.[1] That year, his EP Friends with Benefits featured Waka Flocka Flame on his third single. On September 29th, 2017, his fourth EP titled Disstracktions reached number one on the UK R&B Album Charts.[2]
Boxing
On February 3rd, 2018, KSI fought YouTuber Joe Weller in a white-collar boxing match and defeated him. The match "broke records as the biggest amateur white collar boxing fight in history."[3] The next day, KSI uploaded the full fight to YouTube which has gained over 17.6 million views in a year (shown below).
Jake Paul and KSI Feud
Jake Paul and KSI Feud, also known as the KSI and Logan Paul Boxing Match, refers to an ongoing public conflict between English YouTuber gamer KSI and American YouTubers Logan and Jake Paul. Following a boxing match, KSI challenged the Paul brothers to a fight and the two parties have since exchanged words online. On February 3rd, 2018, YouTuber KSI won a boxing match against English YouTuber Joe Weller. After the fight, KSI said to the crowd, "If any YouTuber wants it, you can come get it. Jake Paul, Logan Paul, any of the Pauls. I don’t care."
On July 25th, the two fights (Logan Paul vs. KSI and Jake Paul vs. Deji) took place. In the opening fight, Jake vs. Deji, Jake Paul beat his opponent as Deji forfeited the fight in the sixth round (image below, left). After the fight, Pail said, "Deji fought an amazing fight. I respect him. I hope he learned a lesson about the things that he said, 'cause he said some shit about my family that wasn't cool … but much respect to Deji, no hard feelings." The main event, Logan vs. KSI, resulted in a majority draw, leading to immediate discussions of a rematch (image below, right).
Online, YouTube registered more than 780,000 viewers, who paid $10 to watch the fight on the website. Within 24 hours, the paid stream had more than 4.9 million views.[5] However, pirated streams of the match, particularly on Twitch, registered more than one million people watching. The following day, Jake Paul released a reaction video to the KSI-Logan Paul fight. Within 24 hours, the video (shown below) received more than 4.9 million views.

Get Hyper is a Drum and Bass song composed by Droideka (shown below, left), which was first used by KSI in one of his Q&A Sunday videos. It is often used for humorous moments in videos when "getting hyper," which entails dancing in a random and ecstatic fashion (shown below, right).
Personal Life
Olatunji and Deji Feud
On November 26th, 2018, KSI's brother Deji released a diss track toward YouTuber Randolph in which he reveals KSI's bank records to prove he paid for Randolph's wedding (shown below, left). The video gained over 5.1 million views in six months. On November 27th, KSI uploaded a reaction video to the diss track saying the money was a gift and he shouldn't have brought him into it. The video gained over 6.1 million views and 228,000 likes in six months. The controversy sparked a short feud between the brothers.
On May 25th, 2019, Deji uploaded a 45 minute video describing how his brother abused him and stole his girlfriend (shown below, left). The video gained over 6.4 million views in a week. Two days later, PewDie Pie addressed the video in his own video "KSI is Cancelled" (shown below, right). The video gained over 6.3 million views in two days.
On May 28th, KSI[4] tweeted, "Finally watched the Deji video. Currently on tour but will reply very soon" (shown below). The tweet accumulated over 22.9 likes and 500 retweets in a day.
On June 3rd, 2019, KSI responded to Deji's video with his own 80-minute video titled "Ending it all" (shown below). The video gained over 6.3 million views and 488,000 likes in two days. The video addresses every claim Deji makes by defending himself with clips of them play fighting, his neutral attitude in regards to diss tracks made and evidence that he had no clue the girl he slept with even knew his brother.
