Khoirul Anam is an Indonesian artist known for designing eccentric clothes and room concepts, sometimes doing a Low Cost Cosplay kind of performance but oftentimes creating elaborate and nuanced outfits and sets.

History

On August 21st, 2017, Anam via his Facebook^[1] uploaded his first low budget cosplay as Hulk . The post only received 41 likes (shown below, left). On February 14th, 2018, Anam^[2] uploaded the first eccentric photo of him with his friend creating a selfie stick that was claimed as "the longest selfie stick in the world" at 20 meters, comparing an American one that was only 8.5 meters. The post received 241 likes and 11 shares (shown below, right).

Online Presence

Over the years, Anam was increasingly acknowledged as an eccentric photographer of unusual concepts. For exampe, on December 10th, 2022, he^[3] uploaded a photo of himself asleep in a room full of bushes and called the room a nuansa alam or "Natural Feel" in English. The post received more than 5,200 reactions and 2,800 shares in two years (shown below, left). On April 17th, 2023, Anam^[4] uploaded a photo of himself wearing an outfit based on his curtain behind as a motif. The post received more than 7,700 reactions and 5,600 shares in one year (shown below, right).

Sometimes, he also doing some low budget cosplaying. For example on November 25th, 2022, Anam^[5] uploaded a photo of himself cosplaying as 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar mascot, La'eeb. The post received more than 4,100 reactions and 271 shares in two years (shown below, left). On January 15th, 2023, Anam^[6] uploaded a photo of himself cosplaying as the Mixue mascot. The post received more than 4,300 reactions and 458 shares in one year (shown below, right).
