Kevin G, also known as Kevin Gabor, K3VIN_G or K3vingabor, is an 11-year-old Romanian TikTok creator and influencer with Osteogenesis Imperfecta who went viral in late 2023 for the 'Sunflower' Kid meme in which he sang the Post Malone song "Sunflower." Many memes were then made with Kevin G's TikTok videos like one of him saying, "Spooky scary skeletons." Curiosity ensued over Kevin G's age as his fanbase grew.
Background
Kevin Gabor is an 11-year-old boy from Romania who's diagnosed with a rare bone condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta.[1][2][3] His father Istvan Gabor seemingly co-admins his content, evident in the bio of his Instagram[4] page as well as in a short documentary interview with Good Morning America[2] posted to YouTube[5] on September 21st, 2023 (shown below).
Online History
Years before his TikTok presence, on April 4th, 2015, Kevin Gabor's father and mother started posting content about him to his YouTube[10] channel. His YouTube[11] videos gained more views in 2018, such as a video posted on October 6th, 2018, that received over 7,100 views in five years (shown below).
Kevin G's TikTok presence started on May 16th, 2023, when he uploaded his first TikTok[6] video to his account @k3vingabor, gaining roughly 99,300 plays and 6,400 likes in seven months (shown below, left).
His videos continued to amass engagement going into 2023, predominantly centering on LEGO and food content. For instance, on June 28th, 2023, he posted a TikTok[7] about LEGOs that earned over 561,400 plays and 69,800 likes in six months (shown below, right).
On August 20th, 2023, Kevin G started posting content on Instagram.[9]
Bullying Controversy
On August 18th, 2023, Kevin G posted a TikTok[8] in which he was visibly crying. He was urging people to stop cyberbullying him and trying to get him banned for no reason. Over four months, the video received roughly 13.1 million plays and 1.6 million likes, quickly becoming his most viral video at the time (shown below).

"Sunflower" Kid
On November 11th, 2023, TikToker[1] @k3vingabor (aka K3VIN_G) posted a video of himself singing the song "Sunflower" by Post Malone & Swae Lee which was prominently featured in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse film. Over 11 days, the video received roughly 4.6 million plays and 462,500 likes (shown below, left).
The video soon became a meme, gaining exploitable greenscreen usage (example shown below, right).
Spooky Scary Skeletons
On October 31st, 2023, Kevin G posted a video to TikTok[12] that showed him with a completed LEGO haunted house. He said in the video "Spooky scary skeletons." Over one month, the video gained roughly 3.5 million plays and 397,500 likes (shown below, left).
After the "Sunflower" Kid memes, creators resurfaced the "Spooky Scary Skeletons" video and started making memes with it. For instance, on November 26th, 2023, TikToker[13] @yaeyaemiko70 made a meme with the video, gaining roughly 5.4 million plays and 752,600 likes in five days (shown below, right).
Fandom
Predominantly due to the "Sunflower" Kid meme, Kevin G started to accumulate viral memetic content made by other TikTokers who object labeled his videos with captions or inserted him into different settings. For instance, on November 22nd, 2023, TikToker[16] @realbryson_ posted a meme that read, "POV: Me trying to convince bro to gift me something form the item shop," gaining roughly 2.5 million plays and 492,400 likes in nine days (shown below, left).
On November 28th, 2023, TikToker[17] @portajohnson posted a Kevin G meme about edging in class, gaining roughly 1.4 million plays and 243,800 likes in three days (shown below, right).

By December 1st, 2023, Kevin G had amassed roughly 1.9 million followers on TikTok,[14] roughly 276,000 followers on Instagram[4] and roughly 4,400 subscribers on YouTube.[15]
